Australian Flexible Joints manufactures a range of high quality PTFE Expansion Joints. These are available in a range of sizes from DN25 to DN800. They are commonly used in fragile process areas to protect equipment such as graphite, plastic or glass from expansion and/or vibration. The main media carried are hydrochloric acid, chlorine, brine and sodium hydroxide.

 

PTFE bellows also have a use when extreme flexibility or low spring rate is required that is not available in a metallic bellows.
